How does it feel to win Employee of the Month?

It feels really rewarding- and it’s always nice for your hard-work to be recognised.  

What was the highlight of your month?

It was great to come together as a team on one of our Friday afternoons off. We work from home on Friday so normally we go our separate ways, but I organised one Friday a month where people can work from the office if they want and then we can all head out as a team for the afternoon. It was a chance for a couple of the parents in the team to bring along their kids and for everyone to unwind.

What’s the secret to your success?

This month I have been working really closely with Raniya and I have loved it. We work so well together and it’s great to bounce ideas off each other and have someone you can ask for advice. It’s been really enjoyable to work so close with someone else.

What do you love most about your role?

I love having the freedom to try new things and work in new areas. I was able to work in a team lead role last quarter which I enjoyed and then also working more one-on-one with Raniya. I also love speaking to clients going through their scaling journey and offering advice as we go.

How are you going to celebrate?

The girls from work went out at the weekend and I may have done enough celebrating to last for the next 6 months! I think mainly I just want to carry on working with Raniya and seeing our hard work pay off.
