What is the role?
As a Technical Lead at Clue, you'll play a vital role in our agile development team, guiding and mentoring fellow members while contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge software solutions.
You'll collaborate closely with the Director of Application Development to elevate our technical architecture and drive improvements in our software delivery processes.
With line management responsibilities, you'll lead team meetings and foster growth through regular one-to-ones.

What will you be doing as Technical Lead on top of being an exceptional developer?
- Embrace an active role within our agile team, contributing to ceremonies and providing regular progress updates.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship, conducting code reviews and identifying opportunities for training.
- Collaborate with development and QA leads to ensure seamless integration.
- Understand business objectives and assign tasks to team members, supporting the Product Owner in gathering requirements.
- Provide accurate effort estimations for tasks based on provided requirements.
- Craft clean, secure, and reusable code that adheres to development standards and meets requirements.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, resolving customer issues and identifying software problem root causes
What do you need to bring?
- Proficiency in web client-side frontend technologies, including HTML, CSS, jQuery, and modern SPA frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
- Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and the Microsoft development stack (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, SQL Server).
- Skill in re-architecting legacy code into scalable web solutions.
- Applied knowledge of development practices such as design patterns, TDD, and Git usage.
- Agile development expertise and understanding of Scrum principles.
- Proactive with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience mentoring and leading software development teams.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, build and deployment pipelines, and Octopus Deploy.
- Exposure to Azure and AWS SaaS architecture and secure coding standards.
